Welcome to the intro to mulitgun class at ARPC. This class will be a hands-on session which covers the main safety rules of multigun, the basic equipment needed, and allows participants to shoot thru a stage a few times with an instructor.
Many people don’t want to just be thrown into a match setting without at least having an idea of what they are getting into, and this course is designed to give you a feel for what to expect at the local matches. We will also provide some handouts on rules in an effort to get into the hands-on portion of the class as rapidly as possible.
The class is $5 to attend and does require pre-registration.
What you will need:

Hearing and Eye protection
Ammo – Please be sure none of your ammo has steel in the projectiles;
100 Rifle
100 Pistol
50 Shot
5 Slugs

Please note, these are minimum round counts, during the class, as well as during matches, if a target is missed, or not neutralized, the competitor is allowed to fire additional rounds until it is neutralized, so you may want to bring extra.

Firearms if you have them available;
We have some equipment available, so at the time you register, if there is a firearm you don’t have, ask us, we can get you set up for the class, and let you know what ammunition you will need to bring.
Rifle – Semi-Automatic rifle capable of accepting detachable mags for ease of reloading
Pistol – Semi-Automatic pistol capable of accepting detachable mags
Shotgun – Pump or Semi-Auto with at least a 5-round capacity

Magazines for Rifle and Pistol (at least 2 with a total capacity of at least 30 rounds for each firearm)

Holster (Optional but recommended if you have one available)
Must securely hold your handgun and be attached to a belt at waist level (can be a drop leg style as long as attached to a belt at waist level)
Rifle Sling
Pouches, pockets, bags, bandoleers that allow you to carry additional ammunition for reloads while on a stage

Safe gun handling skills – While this is an introductory class to 3-gun, participants need to have basic firearms safety knowledge and handling ability.
Dress for the weather and bring water/drinks/snacks that you may need
Good attitude
Class should run for close to 5 hours including breaks and discussions
Please contact Keith Olson at 503-881-0434 with questions and to register for the class.
