This is the 2rd class in our AR sequence. The prerequisite:
Pass proficiency in ARPC’s AR Fundamentals or Safety and Basic Skills Evaluation
This class will expand on AR Fundamentals class material. From there we will move on to acquiring a target from Low Ready, Height over Bore, cadence and transitions, speed reloads, and dynamic movement.
The class fee will be $125 for members and $150 for non-members. Non-members will receive a $25 Off Discount Certificate off New Member Initiation fees.
Participants Will need to bring their own AR-15, 100 rounds of new ammo, .223/5.56 ONLY (NO reloads, green tips, or armor piercing) which will be inspected by the instructor prior to class, sling, and AR Mag carrier.
Participants will need to bring their own hearing and eye protection and wear appropriate clothing to weather and training.

Cancellation Policy

ARPC Cancellation
ARPC reserves the right to cancel classes 48 hours prior to a class. We will notify Students via email of the cancellation. All students who have paid in full will be given the option of rescheduling to another date or a full refund.

Student Cancellation
A student can request a different class date then their originally scheduled class date up to 72 hours prior to the class. All change requests must be made by email to Classes@arpc.info
Any changes made within 72 hours of the class will forfeit class fees
Refunds
Students may receive a 75% refund if requested up to 72 hours prior to the scheduled class. All refund requests must be made by email to Classes@arpc.info
Any Cancellations made within 72 hours of the class will forfeit class fees.
No Shows & No Email
If you don’t email or are a No Show, all Class funds will be forfeited and you will be unable to reschedule the class. You may sign up for another class but will be starting over. Any additional supplies purchased through ARPC for the class i.e; Ammo or First Aid Kit, will be refunded at 75% of Purchased cost.

Yes, it is important to have that favorite rifle sighted in PRIOR to your fall hunting trip or you can have a built in excuse for missing that big buck or bull elk. Albany Rifle and Pistol Club will be open to the general public for two weekends in September (see our calendar for dates) from 9am to 4pm to sight in hunting rifles. The cost is still $10 per rifle and this includes targets. ARPC club members can also use this service without paying the $10 fee as it is considered a membership benefit. Experienced club members will be assisting each person during the sight-in process to make sure the range is operating safely. Everyone must wear eye and ear protection. Safety glasses and ear plugs will be available for purchase if someone forgets to bring them.
